Job Summary
Provide peer-to-peer education and in-servicing to nurses and hospital staff to support medical device implementations for vascular access and blood collection. Assess customer-specific education needs, utilize clinical expertise to address device concerns, and deliver updates and feedback to clients. No bedside care or sales responsibilities are involved. Training is paid, and travel time is compensated. Minimum availability is two weeks per month for regional and national travel, with driving as a business requirement. Requires an active RN license, three to five years of vascular access experience, and valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- RN Degree - Associates
- Bachelor's degree
- Active and Unrestricted RN license
- Vascular Access experience of at least 3-5 years
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to clear hospital vendor credentialing requirements
- Minimum availability of 2 weeks per month
- Valid driver's license
- Measles, Mumps & Rubella vaccine
- Varicella (chicken pox) vaccine
- Negative Tuberculosis (TB) Test
- Tetanus, Diphtheria & Pertussis (Tdap) vaccine
- Hepatitis B vaccine
- Influenza vaccine (seasonal)
- COVID-19 vaccine primary series
Desired Qualifications
- ER, Critical Care unit experience of at least 2 years
- Leadership experience (manager, educator, preceptor)
- Excellent documentation skills
- Ability to work independently in customer settings with minimal supervision
