Job Summary
Conduct peer-to-peer education and in-servicing for nurses and hospital staff to support medical device implementations, specifically focusing on hospital beds in the Medical-Surgical unit. Assess customer-specific education needs, answer clinical questions regarding device concerns, and provide updates and feedback to clients. Maintain minimum availability of two weeks per month while traveling nationally to support customer needs, with driving considered a business requirement. Training is provided and paid; travel time is also compensated. This role offers supplemental income and industry growth opportunities for RNs with Med-Surg or ICU experience.
Required Qualifications
- RN Degree - Associates required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Active and Unrestricted RN license required
- Med-Surg/ICU/Acute Care experience of at least 1-2 years required
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to clear hospital vendor credentialing requirements
- Travel nationally to support customer needs
- Valid driver's license
- Authorization to work in the US without the need for sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- Med Surg, ICU, Critical Care or Acute Care experience of at least 2-3 years
- Leadership experience (manager, educator, preceptor)
- Ability to learn quickly and take initiative
- Ability to work independently in customer settings with minimal supervision
- Experience working with and managing hospital beds
