Job Summary
Conduct peer-to-peer education and in-servicing for Registered Nurses and hospital staff regarding medical device implementations, specifically focusing on hospital beds in the Medical-Surgical unit. Assess customer-specific education needs to deliver positive training experiences while utilizing clinical nursing expertise to address concerns with medical devices. Provide updates, reports, and valuable feedback to clients during and after assignments. This role requires a minimum of two weeks of availability per month, with national travel where driving is a business requirement. Training is provided and paid, and travel time is compensated. Candidates must hold an active RN license with Med-Surg/ICU experience and possess a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- RN Degree - Associates required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Active and Unrestricted RN license required
- Med-Surg/ICU/Acute Care experience of at least 1-2 years required
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to clear hospital vendor credentialing requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Authorization to work in the US without the need for sponsorship
- Measles, Mumps & Rubella vaccine
- Varicella (chicken pox) vaccine
- Negative Tuberculosis (TB) Test
- Tetanus, Diphtheria & Pertussis (Tdap) vaccine
- Hepatitis B vaccine
- Influenza vaccine (seasonal)
- COVID-19 vaccine primary series
Desired Qualifications
- Med Surg, ICU, Critical Care or Acute Care experience of at least 2-3 years
- Leadership experience (manager, educator, preceptor)
- Ability to learn quickly and take initiative
- Ability to work independently in customer settings with minimal supervision
- Experience working with and managing hospital beds
