MedSurg RN (7P-7A)

Conduct comprehensive patient care for pediatric, geriatric, and general populations, performing head-to-toe assessments and revising daily plans of care based on clinical response. Administer medications according to patient age and condition, manage fluid and electrolyte needs, and provide pain management education to patients and families. Collaborate with physicians, social services, and discharge planners to address psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs while maintaining interdisciplinary communication. Operate medical equipment safely, document care per standards, and report compliance variances through the chain of command. Requires current Florida RN licensure, BCLS certification, and PALS certification preferred.
