MedSurg LPN - Dayshift

Provide nursing care on the MedSurg unit, including conducting initial and ongoing patient assessments, documenting nursing care, and communicating important findings to the RN for development of the patient care plan. Administer medications per hospital policy, assist in other areas of patient care (XRAY, LAB, ER, ICU, OR, PCU, etc.), and provide discharge information to patients and families. Perform patient rounds every two hours, maintain confidentiality of PHI, and support continuity of care. Compliance with documentation of interventions, patient responses, and follow-up care is required. Requires GA LPN license, current CPR certification, and a high school diploma; continuing education (20 hours biennially) is necessary to maintain licensure. Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, endure standing and reassignment to flexible hours, and operate in a climate-controlled hospital setting. EOE statement indicates equal employment opportunity.
