Job Summary

Lead teaching in co-teaching teams delivering interactive lessons on critical thinking, problem-solving, and health literacy to high school students across 11-week summer and school-year programs. Coordinate curriculum alignment, scheduling, and logistics for partner schools while overseeing educators, staff, and volunteers. Manage 1–2 additional projects, including curriculum areas, inventory, and data analysis, with strategic recommendations to leadership. Train new teachers through small group sessions, observations, and debriefs. Assist with simulation equipment setup and carry moderate weights. Teach 3–4 sessions daily (75 minutes each) at Harvard or designated locations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • College-level understanding of biology and anatomy and physiology
  • Must be able to teach 3-4 in-person sessions each day (75 minutes/session)
  • Requires assisting in set-up of simulation equipment and clinical skills training, which can include lifting and carrying objects of moderate weight
  • Must be able to teach in Spanish preferred

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior high school-level teaching experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent written communication and oral presentation skills
  • Strong project management skills with proven attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple demands
  • Open-minded and adaptable. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Embraces opportunities to learn and grow in the role and contribute to growth of mission-driven organization
  • Experience in a patient-facing healthcare profession is a plus
  • Experience in or open to training on the following lab techniques: ELISA, PCR, gel electrophoresis
  • Ability to teach in Spanish preferred
