Job Summary
Present the Meds To Beds discharge medication delivery program to eligible patients and pre-sign them by presenting the service prior to discharge date. Follow scripting to present the program, then enroll patients using mobile apps or paper forms while transmitting information to pharmacy. Ensure successful completion of program requirements at discharge by delivering prescriptions, verifying identity, completing checkout scripting, and securing patient signatures. Maintain process for tracking patient status and follow-up for all assigned units or services. Requires a Registered and Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician with at least two years of experience in a high-volume pharmacy setting.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Registered Pharmacy Technician with the Florida Board of Pharmacy
- Must be a Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
- A minimum of two (2) years of Pharmacy Technician experience in a high volume, fast paced pharmacy required
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have the ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time
