Job Summary
Drives medivan for non-emergency medical transportation, ensuring timely and safe patient transport; conducts pre- and post-trip checks, interviews patients to confirm appropriateness, maintains vehicle cleanliness, and acts as an ambassador by delivering courteous patient services; reports necessary repairs, participates in required trainings, and adheres to attendance and on-call requirements. Must have a valid Illinois Class C driver’s license, be at least 21, maintain insurability, and hold or obtain BCLS certification within 6 months.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Illinois Class C driver’s license or ability to obtain prior to orientation
- Must be at least 21 years old and have a safe driving record
- Must maintain insurability on the company insurance policy
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire date
