Medium Voltage - Production Operator Entry - 2nd Shift

Job Summary
Conduct all types of assembly work to produce semi-finished or final products/systems/panels, including packing integrated with production lines. Perform manual assembly and operate light hand tools while reading and interpreting technical diagrams for product assembly. Carry out regular quality testing as part of the defined production process and maintain a clean work area. Adhere to standard operating procedures and safety guidelines, including wearing required PPE such as safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed shoes. Lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs; work involves occasional climbing of stairs and ladders, bending, twisting, or standing for extended periods. Use computers for data entry, monitoring, and communication. This onsite role at the Pinetops, NC facility supports the Distribution Solutions Division in improving electric power quality and grid resilience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Legal authorization to work in the US
- Knowledge and use of tools – tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools
- Ability to safely use a ladder
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs
- Physical endurance
- Technical proficiency
- Commitment to maintaining safety standards
- Frequent use of computers for data entry, monitoring, and communication
