Medium/Light Duty Parts Specialist II

Data-entry and customer-service focused Purchasing Specialist II supporting Cox Fleet Services. Responsibilities include handling data entry, professional phone and email communications with internal and external customers, answering inquiries to address purchasing needs, reaching out to technicians and managers on repairs and parts used to obtain information and verify invoices, uploading paperwork for records, creating weekly and monthly department reports, handling incoming correspondence, and supporting ad-hoc CAMFS projects. Requires a High School Diploma or GED with three years in Heavy Diesel/Trailer parts ordering or automotive field, or a Bachelor’s degree with one year of such experience. Must have proficient MS Excel and Word skills and be able to learn DFS IT Systems, Web Wrench, MobileFrame, and RO Writer. Knowledge of the trucking industry and fleet maintenance is preferred. Strong multitasking, initiative, organizational, and communication abilities are essential, with a commitment to accurate documentation and timely issue resolution. Location: Houston, TX; no remote option; typically a full-time on-site role.
