Job Summary
MEDITECH Expanse PHA Analyst (Contract, 12 months) to optimize and maintain the Pharmacy module within the MEDITECH Expanse environment for a leading healthcare organization. Partners with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, clinicians, and IT to drive enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver high-quality solutions that improve patient care and medication safety. Responsibilities include installation of clinical electronic healthcare systems, understanding Health Information Systems, gathering client feedback to drive process improvement, advising on optimal workflows and system functions, peer-to-peer training, developing documentation for internal/external use, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet project deliverables and timelines.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Pharmacist
- 7+ years of experience within the inpatient Pharmacy space
- Expert in MEDITECH Expanse
- Experience building pharmacy order sets
- Mapping NDC's to Drug IDs
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Intermediate to expert ability to work in Office suite products: Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, and Power Point
- Must have strong documentation skills, organization skills, and the ability to interact with team members cross-functionally
- Creates deliverables independently
- Provides coaching and technical and functional guidance on specific project deliverables
- Leads in communicating requirements to development, testing, education and training teams
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- A sense of responsibility and accountability; someone who takes ownership and initiative
- Adaptable and flexible
- Professional demeanor and positive attitude; customer service orientation
- Ability to learn new technologies, methods, and processes
