Job Summary
MEDITECH Expanse PHA Analyst to join CereCore supporting the Pharmacy domain; responsible for optimizing and maintaining the Pharmacy module within the MEDITECH Expanse environment for HCA Healthcare, ensuring workflows and configurations align with clinical and operational needs. Partners with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, clinicians, and IT stakeholders to drive enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver high-quality solutions that improve patient care and medication safety. Role involves installation of clinical electronic health systems, development of documentation and project content, peer-to-peer training, and driving process improvement. Requires strong communication, ability to work independently or on a project team, and the capacity to translate requirements into deliverables; emphasis on knowledge sharing, risk/issue mitigation, and continuous improvement in pharmacy operations through technology.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Pharmacist
- 7+ years of inpatient Pharmacy experience
- Expert in MEDITECH Expanse
- Experience building pharmacy order sets
- Mapping NDC's to Drug ID's
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Intermediate to expert Microsoft Office skills
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Ability to interact cross-functionally with team members
- Creates deliverables independently
- Coaching and guidance on project deliverables
- Leads in communicating requirements to various teams
- Experience working in a team-oriented environment
