MEDITECH Analyst - Interfaces & Application Support

Job Summary
Lead design, support, maintenance, and testing of complex MEDITECH Expanse interfaces between the EMR and internal/external systems; mentor junior analysts and act as a subject matter expert in HL7, interface engines, and integration best practices. Oversee pre- and post-implementation testing strategies, ensure comprehensive validation and successful deployments, and drive standardization and optimization of interface workflows and testing. Collaborate with leadership, vendors, and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and compliant integration solutions, participate in major upgrades and enterprise-wide projects, and ensure regulatory and security requirements are met. Requires deep healthcare interoperability knowledge, strong troubleshooting skills, and experience with APIs, FHIR, and modern interoperability frameworks.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of healthcare interface experience
- Experience with any EMR; MEDITECH Expanse preferred
- Deep expertise in interface engines and HL7 standards
- Strong experience leading testing efforts (unit, integration, UAT, regression)
- Proven leadership, mentoring, and project coordination skills
- Experience with APIs, FHIR, and modern interoperability frameworks preferred
