Job Summary
Join Levi Nine as Medior Automation Test Engineer to drive the modernization of a legacy enterprise platform through cloud-based microservices, build scalable test automation frameworks, roll out standards across product teams, and contribute to onboarding and training materials. You will validate end-to-end business flows across distributed services, support automated testing, integration testing, regression coverage, and release readiness in a fast-evolving cloud environment. The role emphasizes design and implementation of QA strategies, tooling selection (Playwright, Postman, TestRail, JUnit5, RestAssured), scripting with TypeScript/Java/Python, CI/CD with GitLab, and documentation to empower development teams. Desired skills include cloud exposure (AWS), DevOps/Agile awareness, and a university degree in Computer Science or Engineering, with hybrid work in Iași, Romania.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as an Automation Test Engineer
- Experience with test automation tools such as Playwright, Postman, TestRail, Junit5, RestAssured
- Experience in writing tests using Gherkin language
- Experience with programming languages (TypeScript, Java, Python) and file types (YML, JSON)
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab preferred)
- Knowledge of cloud exposure (AWS preferred) is nice to have
- Awareness of DevOps and Agile principles is nice to have
- Relevant university degree in Computer Science/Engineering
- Fluent English and strong communication skills
- Experience creating and maintaining test automation frameworks
- Experience setting up Test Management standards and processes
- Experience with end-to-end, integration, regression testing
- Experience with cloud-native services and migration projects
- Documentation and onboarding experience
- Team collaboration and ownership mindset
