Evolve patients during shifts by examining, prescribing treatments for various pathologies, and applying scientifically recognized therapeutic plans. Document diagnoses, treatments, and disease progression in patient records; issue medical certificates, reports, and opinions to meet legal requirements. Provide urgent and emergency care to admitted patients, admit them upon request for necessary documents, and coordinate admissions and discharges with the multidisciplinary team. Monitor clinical conditions, check examinations, and define conduct jointly with the attending physician, family, and team. Participate in quality improvement programs, clinical meetings, and risk management; collaborate on protocol implementation, research, and teaching. Report cases of compulsory notification, violence, or unexpected complications to competent authorities and the unit coordinator.
