Conduct neurology consultations to diagnose and prevent pathologies affecting the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves, while prescribing treatments and medications for conditions such as migraines and chronic pain. Interpret clinical and complementary exam data to formulate diagnoses, then plan and prescribe clinical, surgical, and pharmacological interventions including hemoderivates. Implement health promotion actions, maintain patient records, and issue prescriptions while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams for case discussions and administrative meetings. Prepare technical reports and refer patients to primary care units upon discharge or for chronic follow-up in accordance with ethical standards.
