MÉDICO NEUROCIRURGIÃO

Conduct neurosurgical care for patients with central nervous system diseases, including tumors, vascular disorders, and degenerative conditions. Treat traumatic cranioencephalic injuries and spinal cord lesions amenable to surgical approach, while performing surgeries to replace dysfunctional sensory organs with artificial devices. Diagnose and manage acute, chronic, or traumatic conditions of the central and peripheral nervous systems using clinical and surgical means to restore patient health. Manage patient records in hospitalization documents and medical charts in compliance with legal requirements. Refer patients to other specialties when necessary and respond to evaluation requests from other unit specialists. Participate in technical-scientific development meetings, case presentations, and health discussions. Adhere to the Medical Code of Ethics, internal unit regulations, and departmental procedures. Support teaching activities and student rotations in alignment with educational institutions.
