MÉDICO INTENSIVISTA

Provide intensive care to hospitalized patients by performing diagnostic and treatment procedures, prescribing medication, and supplying ventilatory and hemodynamic support according to institutional and health ministry guidelines. Manage emergency and post-surgical cases through specialized procedures and medical care aimed at patient recovery. Document attendance flow in relevant reports for statistical controls and evaluate treatment evolution while prescribing specific medications and referring patients to other specialties. Maintain ethical conduct, discuss cases with the multidisciplinary team, and support teaching activities for interns and residents. Participate in partnerships between the health unit and educational institutions to foster research, residency, and internship fields.
