Job Summary
Medicines Management Technician role focusing on medicines reconciliation and optimisation in NHS primary care, with responsibilities including medicines reconciliation and optimisation, medicines management enhanced service implementation to promote cost-effective prescribing, managing repeat prescriptions and eRD, service design/improvement, policy development and training, collaboration with clinicians, data extraction/analysis, responding to queries, monitoring MHRA alerts, high-risk prescribing oversight, KPI-driven service improvements, and audit of prescribing practices; remote-friendly with attendance at the Euston (London) office up to 2 days per month.
Required Qualifications
- GPHC registered Medicines Management Technician
- minimum 2 years of experience
- GP practice or ICB role experience
- CPPE pathway enrolment or CPD in medicines management
- experience using SystmOne preferred
