Job Summary
Conduct 12-hour day shifts in the Medicine Unit at BMC Carol Ball, managing telemetry and IV skills with a 1/5 nurse-to-patient ratio. Maintain 24 months of nursing experience including recent Medical Surgical Unit work, while utilizing Epic for documentation. Provide Basic Life Support coverage on a rotating schedule involving every other weekend and holidays, with no guaranteed hours. Submit to the program only if you hold a Maryland or compact license, have no current placement at Johns Hopkins, and can provide two charge/lead references from the last two years.
Required Qualifications
- 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 3 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience
- Experience with Epic
- Maryland license or compact license
- Telemetry MS Unit
- IV skills
- Every Other Weekend
- Every Other and As Needed
- 14 days maximum time off
- 2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years
- Proof of identification
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
