Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations in OPD, ICU, and emergency settings to diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions. Develop individualized treatment plans including medication management, diagnostic testing, and referral coordination while providing immediate intervention for critically ill patients. Lead multidisciplinary teams in ICU settings to oversee ventilator management and critical care protocols, ensuring 24/7 coverage through on-call rotations and emergency response teams. Maintain accurate medical records, contribute to clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives, and mentor junior staff in clinical decision-making. Requires MBBS with postgraduate qualification in Medicine and minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in internal medicine, ICU, and emergency care. Valid registration with the Medical Council of India and proficiency in ACLS and advanced airway management are essential. Salary ranges from ₹300,000 to ₹350,000 LPM for this hospital-based role.
Required Qualifications
- MBBS degree with a postgraduate qualification in Medicine (MD/DM or equivalent) from a recognized institution
- Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification clinical experience in internal medicine with demonstrated expertise in OPD, ICU, and emergency care
- Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (or equivalent) and a clean professional record
- Proven ability to manage complex medical cases under pressure in high-stress environments
- Strong clinical acumen in areas such as respiratory failure, sepsis, cardiac emergencies, and multi-organ dysfunction
- Proficiency in advanced life support (ACLS), basic and advanced airway management, and critical care procedures
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in team-based settings
- Commitment to patient safety, ethical practice, and continuous learning
- Willingness to participate in on-call duties and shift rotations as required
