Job Summary
Medication Technician responsible for administering prescribed medications to residents in an assisted living facility under supervision of a licensed nurse. Performs medication administration accurately, counts narcotics at shift start/end, monitors residents for adverse effects, and maintains precise medication records in electronic health records. Requires HS diploma or equivalent, ability to understand and carry out instructions in English, clear communication, and willingness to work weekends and holidays. Role involves rotating 4 on, 2 off schedule and on-site work at Taylor, TX locations.
Required Qualifications
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to understand, remember and carry out oral and written instructions in English
- Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents
- Must be capable of performing the essential job functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodations
- Must be willing to work weekends & holidays
