Job Summary
Medication Technician provides direct care and medication assistance to residents, keeps accurate care records, and follows physician orders, state laws, and the facility's medication policy. The role requires First Aid and, where state regulations apply, CPR and CNA certifications, as well as the ability to pass relevant exams or skills evaluations. Must be able to read, speak, and understand English, and be capable of lifting up to 25 pounds. Experience in assisted living is a plus. Salary range $22.00–$24.50 per hour on a DOE basis. Location is Santa Monica, CA.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid First Aid Certification(s)
- CPR certification may be required state regulations
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or state CNA credentials
- Must pass examination and/or skills evaluation
- Continuing education requirements and license maintenance
- Fluency in spoken and written English
