Job Summary
Administer or assist with medication administration, document on MARs, and conduct narcotic counts. Provide physical and psychosocial care including activities of daily living, mobility assistance, and emergency response. Oversee wellness staffing schedules, plan shifts monthly, and participate in on-call rotations to fill open shifts. Maintain infection control protocols, ensure room cleanliness, and report resident status changes or safety hazards. Requires state certification, English proficiency, and ability to lift 40 pounds. Available for PRN work with potential to convert to full-time.
Required Qualifications
- Must maintain certification in the state where you work if required
- Satisfactory completion of state-required education/certificates/testing in relation to medication aides as well as the company medication aide skills competency checklist
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English
- Be in good physical health and free of communicable diseases
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds
- Completion of drug testing and criminal background check upon hire and upon request of supervisor
- Must be available by phone 24/7 while on-call for staffing needs
- Must be able to fill open shift if needed
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Assisted Living preferred
