Job Summary
Administer or assist with medication supervision per physician orders, documenting accurately on the MAR and conducting required narcotic counts. Provide physical and psychosocial care including activities of daily living, mobility assistance, and emergency response while maintaining infection control standards. Oversee wellness staffing schedules by planning monthly schedules and participating in on-call rotations to fill open shifts. Report resident condition changes, abuse, or safety violations immediately to supervisors. Ensure room cleanliness and coordinate internal transportation and dining services as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English
- Be in good physical health and free of communicable diseases
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds
- Must maintain certification in the state where you work if required
- Satisfactory completion of state-required education/certificates/testing in relation to medication aides as well as the company medication aide skills competency checklist
- Completion of drug testing and criminal background check upon hire and upon request of supervisor
- Must be available by phone 24/7 while on-call for staffing needs
- Must be able to fill open shift if needed
- Ability to lift 40 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Assisted Living preferred
