Job Summary
Administer or assist with medication administration and supervise the wellness staffing schedule. Provide physical and psychosocial care, including activities of daily living, mobility assistance, and emergency response. Document all services on medication administration records and conduct shift change reports. Maintain security of medication carts and narcotic keys while performing room checks and sanitation duties. Report resident condition changes, abuse, or safety hazards to the Wellness Director. Participate in an on-call rotation for staffing needs and fill open shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Must maintain certification in the state where you work if required
- Satisfactory completion of state-required education/certificates/testing in relation to medication aides as well as the company medication aide skills competency checklist
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English
- Be in good physical health and free of communicable diseases
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds
- Completion of drug testing and criminal background check upon hire and upon request of supervisor
- Must be available by phone 24/7 while on-call for staffing needs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Assisted Living preferred
