Job Summary
Oversee and assist in the administration of medications to residents, including preparing and distributing medications, coordinating medication services with residents, pharmacies, and physicians, and maintaining accurate confidential medication records. Maintain a safe environment, encourage teamwork, and support activities for residents. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent (LVN is a plus) and 18+ with ability to operate MS Office; experience in medication administration at an RCFE is preferred. Willingness to undergo background checks, health screenings, and, per regulations, vaccination or PPE protocols. Full-time overnight shift in a senior living setting, with benefits and opportunities for growth across multiple California communities.
Required Qualifications
- Prefer one (1) year of experience assisting with medication at a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE).
- Based on state regulation, completion of training/certification may be required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- A high school diploma or equivalent; a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is a plus.
- Must be able to operate MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
- Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
- Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
