Job Summary
The Certified Medication Aide (CMA) at Inspirations of Tempe is responsible for administering medications, providing physical and psychosocial care to residents, and maintaining accurate documentation. Key duties include ensuring the security of medications, assisting with daily living activities, observing changes in residents’ conditions, and adhering to safety and sanitation protocols. Applicants must have completed required education and training for medication aides, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate physical health suitable for the role.
Required Qualifications
- Satisfactory completion of state-required education/certificates/testing in relation to medication aides
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English
- Must be in good physical health and free of communicable diseases
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds
- Completion of drug testing and criminal background check upon hire and upon request of supervisor
