Job Summary
As a Medication Technician in Assisted Living, administer medications accurately and in compliance with state regulations and community policies; verify weekly that self-administering residents are taking medications correctly; review medication error reports and document appropriately; perform monthly audits of medication administration records; follow individualized care plans to support residents' health and wellness; provide basic ADL assistance; maintain accurate documentation; promote a home-like environment and report discrepancies to the charge nurse or supervisor; 2:30PM–10:30PM shift; role involves care for residents in a non-profit assisted-living community with a sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Some experience as a Medication Technician
- Intermediate computer skills
