Job Summary
Administer and assist residents with medications as prescribed by physicians while accurately documenting administration and health information in the Electronic Health Record system. Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, and monitor and report any changes in their health or behavior to nursing staff. Provide emotional and social support to foster a positive atmosphere within the Assisted Living facility. Requires current North Carolina Medication Technician and Certified Nursing Assistant certifications, with a preference for one year of CNA experience. Full-time 1st shift or part-time 2nd/3rd shift availability.
Required Qualifications
- Current North Carolina Medication Technician (Med Tech) certification
- Current North Carolina Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Proven ability to administer medications safely and accurately
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A compassionate and caring attitude toward the elderly
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of experience as a CNA preferred
