Job Summary
Conduct daily nursing care and service for residents by assisting with activities of daily living, including dressing, eating, grooming, toileting, and mobility needs. Prepare and administer medications according to health care provider instructions and within the scope of Grand Living's license, ensuring all interactions follow the Sterling Touch® standard of being friendly, courteous, and professional. Operate under the general guidance of the Director of Health and Wellness to maintain community standards and processes. This role enhances the overall resident experience through personalized care plans delivered in a high-end upscale environment featuring exquisite cuisine and free employee meals.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certified Medication Aide License
- Ability to read, write and understand the English language
- Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, crouch, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, push, pull and work continuously without sitting for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift or carry up to 40 pounds
- Full-Time Days: Three 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) plus one 6-hour shift each week, with rotating weekends
- Part-Time Evenings: Three 8-hour shifts (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM) with rotating weekends
- Full-Time Nights: Three 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) plus one 6-hour shift each week, with rotating weekends
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience working with Seniors
