Job Summary
Administer or assist with medication supervision per physician orders and document all actions on the medication administration record. Provide physical and psychosocial care including activities of daily living, mobility assistance, and emergency response while maintaining infection control standards. Oversee wellness staffing by planning schedules one month in advance and participate in an on-call rotation to fill open shifts. Conduct change-of-shift reports, narcotic counts, and resident rounds to ensure safety and sanitation compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Must maintain certification in the state where you work if required
- Satisfactory completion of state-required education/certificates/testing in relation to medication aides as well as the company medication aide skills competency checklist
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English
- Be in good physical health and free of communicable diseases
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds
- Completion of drug testing and criminal background check upon hire and upon request of supervisor
- Must be available by phone 24/7 while on-call for staffing needs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Full-time Sunday through Thursday
