Job Summary
Engage with residents personally while administering medications and treatments, observing their day-to-day behavior to ensure comfort and well-being. Provide social and emotional support while encouraging residents' independence, and manage the medication cart for complete, up-to-date supplies and quality control. This part-time role operates from 3:00pm to 9:00pm and offers direct-care experience advancement within a family-owned private company serving seniors in Hershey, Pa.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to perform the physical tasks required in this type of role
- Have the ability to understand and speak English at a level which allows the safe, efficient performance of the job
Desired Qualifications
- Prior direct-care experience preferred
- Respect for patient rights and confidentiality
- Up-to-date medication certification requirements preferred
- Highly organized skills
