Job Summary
Assist residents with daily administration of prescribed medications, including self-administration, per individual care plans. Follow documentation protocols to report status changes and manage medication inventory, storage, and pharmacy re-orders. Provide compassionate support for activities of daily living, prioritize resident independence through engagement and companionship, and encourage participation in life enrichment programs. Promote open communication among healthcare professionals, families, and staff. Requires at least 12 months of medication administration experience, current First Aid and CPR license, and willingness to participate in weekend rotation. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain
- At least 12 months of experience administering medications in a professional caregiving setting
- Excellent attention to detail and high integrity
- Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset
- Positive attitude, empathy, patience, and commitment to treating our residents with dignity and respect
- Willingness to participate in weekend rotation
