Job Summary
Provide compassionate medication administration and daily living assistance to residents as a Medication Technician (CNA/HCA). Responsibilities include administering prescribed medications per care plans, documenting changes, managing medication inventory and coordinating with pharmacies, delivering person-centered care in a team setting, promoting resident engagement, and maintaining open communication with healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff. Requires strong attention to detail, empathy, teamwork, and weekend rotation availability.
Required Qualifications
- Education and Certifications: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid state CNA or HCA license per state regulations.
- Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.
- Nurse Delegation and Diabetes Specialty Certificates or willingness to obtain within a prescribed period.
- At least 12 months of experience administering medications in a professional caregiving setting.
