Job Summary
Administer or assist with administration of medications for residents in a safe, accurate, and timely manner; provide physical and psychosocial care to residents that promotes dignity, choice, and individuality; oversee the wellness staffing schedule; document medications on the MAR and ensure accurate completion of MARs; perform shift handoffs and narcotic counts; maintain medication cart security; support activities of daily living; collaborate with peers and the Wellness Director; report any abuse or changes in residents’ condition; respond to emergencies promptly, follow infection control and safety protocols; participate in on-call staffing rotations and help arrange coverage; engage in resident-centered activities and contribute to a positive, compassionate senior living environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must maintain certification in the state where you work if required.
- Satisfactory completion of state-required education/certificates/testing in relation to medication aides as well as the company medication aide skills competency checklist.
