Job Summary
Medication Technician 3rd Shift provides high quality personal care and service to residents; administers medications in accordance with Six Rights; monitors residents' conditions; mentors new staff; collaborates across departments; maintains HIPAA confidentiality; requires HS diploma or GED, CBRF medication administration training, and ability to work evening/night shifts; works in Iola, WI
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Successful completion of CBRF medication administration training and required CBRF core trainings (Standard Precautions, Fire Safety, First Aid/Choking, and Resident Rights)
- Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions in English
- Strong observation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and team oriented
- Flexible and available to work beyond regularly scheduled hours, as well as weekends and holidays as needed
- Ability to learn new technology
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Understanding of and commitment to HIPAA and confidentiality protocols
