Medication Technician - 3pm to 11pm

Job Summary
Medication Technician needed for 3pm–11pm shift at The Residence at Whitehall. Responsibilities include administering or assisting with medications per physician orders and MAR, documenting administration, conducting shift reports, maintaining medication cart security and narcotic counts, assisting residents with activities of daily living, observing and reporting changes in residents’ condition, responding to emergencies, following infection control and safety procedures, and supporting wellness staffing schedules. Requires state certification as a medication aide (or equivalent), ability to read/write English, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Prior Assisted Living experience preferred. On-site, full-time role in Pittsburgh, PA.
Required Qualifications
- Must be certified as a medication aide in the state of employment
- Certificate or license related to medication administration
- Ability to perform or assist with activities of daily living
- Satisfactory completion of state-required education/certificates/testing for medication aides
- Background check and drug testing
- English literacy
Desired Qualifications
- State-recognized medication aide certification
- English reading/writing proficiency
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English
- Must maintain certification in the state where you work if required
- Completion of drug testing and criminal background check
- Experience in Assisted Living preferred
