Job Summary
Administer medications under the supervision of a licensed nurse in accordance with applicable State and Federal laws. Perform direct care duties for residents to maintain a positive physical, social, and psychological environment. Assist in upholding dignity and respect for all seniors while following the Lifestyle Pledge and Principals daily. Complete the Medication Administration Assistant course and demonstrate abilities within med pass standards. Work part-time shifts from 6pm to 10pm.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistance in good standing
- Meet all applicable federal and state certification requirements
- Be in training to satisfactorily complete the requirements to become a Certified Nurse Assistant
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Completion of Medication Administration Assistant course
- Ability to read
- Ability to write
- Ability to follow oral and written directions
- Speak English
- Understand standards of med pass
- Successfully demonstrate abilities within med pass standards
