Job Summary
Administer medications under the supervision of a licensed nurse in accordance with State and Federal laws. Perform direct care duties under the supervision of professional nursing personnel to assist in maintaining a positive physical, social, and psychological environment for residents. Complete the Medication Administration Assistant course and demonstrate abilities within med pass standards while reading, writing, and following oral and written directions. Maintain a positive attitude toward the elderly and speak and understand English. Work part-time, 6AM to 10 AM, two days a week at Fairmont of Westlake, a 100-bed Senior Living Community in Westlake, OH.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistance in good standing
- Meet all applicable federal and state certification requirements
- Be in training to satisfactorily complete the requirements to become a Certified Nurse Assistant
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Completion of Medication Administration Assistant course
- Ability to read
- Ability to write
- Ability to follow oral and written directions
- Speak English
- Understand standards of med pass
- Successfully demonstrate abilities within med pass standards
