Job Summary
Med Tech (CNA) with weekend shift seeking full-time role at Lakewest Assisted Living in Dallas, TX. Responsibilities include administering oral and topical medications as ordered by a physician under the supervision of a licensed nurse, documenting medication administration, observing for adverse reactions, and reporting them. Requires knowledge of the five rights of medication administration, Texas CNA certification, and strong communication skills. Weekend availability is required. Required Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification
- Complete familiarity with duties of a certified nurse aide
- Knowledge of the five rights of medication administration
- Experience administering medications under supervision of a licensed nurse (as applicable)
- Record-keeping of medication administration and treatments
- Observing and reporting reactions/side effects
- Ability to administer PRN medications per policy
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Weekends availability may be required
- High school diploma or equivalent
