Job Summary
Medication Reconciliation Technician in the Emergency Care Center performs medication reconciliation for admitted patients, interacts with hospital personnel, and interviews patients to obtain accurate, up-to-date medications. Requires MA Pharmacy Technician license and MA board certification, at least 3 months of pharmacy experience, strong verbal/written communication, knowledge of medications, and solid organizational skills. Must be able to communicate with patients of all ages, multitask in a fast-paced environment, and be computer literate. High school diploma required; certification/license by the Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy required.
Required Qualifications
- Pharmacy Technician License by the Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy
- Minimum of 3 months of pharmacy experience
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Demonstrate knowledge of medications
- Positive interpersonal communication skills and good organizational skills
- Computer literate
- Educational Requirements: High school diploma
- License/Certification: Certification license by the Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy
