Job Summary
Provide grooming, dressing, and bathing assistance while monitoring changes in tenant needs, preferences, and health status. Report significant changes to the nurse and review the Staff 24-Hour Communication log daily. Prepare and serve meals, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and handle laundry and housekeeping duties including dusting, vacuuming, and bathroom cleaning. Engage residents in spiritual, educational, games, music, and physical activities while maintaining the activity calendar. Follow infection control guidelines, safety policies, and resident rights regarding privacy and dignity. Work effectively with minimal supervision in a team setting within the Maggie's Place Memory Care team.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent GED
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years' previous experience working with individuals with dementia
- Experience in a memory care setting
