Job Summary
Administer medication according to legislative requirements and policies, while reviewing residents' Support Plans to assist with activities of daily living including bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, mobility, and laundry management. Monitor and document residents' vitals, weights, behavior, mobility, and safety, promptly answering nursing call systems and escorting residents to social activities, appointments, and dining. Maintain a welcoming culture focused on helping residents live fully, ensuring they receive compassionate, high-quality care that supports their health, safety, and well-being.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- completion of an accredited Personal Support Worker program that meets legislative standards
- Medication Administration certification
- First Aid and CPR certification
- experience with medication administration
- Six hundred (600) hours of related experience
- legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permit
- successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check
