Job Summary
Medication Assistant at Sinceri Senior Living in Loveland, OH. Provide medication assistance for residents (pouring, preparation, administration, and documentation), maintain the medication cart/storage room, ensure accurate medication counts and security, assist with activities of daily living as needed, engage residents, respond promptly to care requests, uphold Residents’ Rights, and document in medication administration records and related reports. May assist with dining room duties and resident activities; caregiving and housekeeping responsibilities may be required. Must complete Medication Aide training and obtain state-specific certification where required. Minimum eligibility includes a high school diploma or equivalent preferred and at least 1 year of caregiver/CNA experience in a residential or long-term care setting; must read/write/speak English and be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 1-year of previous experience as a Caregiver or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the elderly in a residential or long-term care setting
- Must be able to read, write and speak English to communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and other staff members
- Must complete Medication Aide training (and certification in states where required)
- Essential Functions: Provides medication assistance for residents in accordance with state regulations and company policy including; pouring, preparing, assisting with administration, and documentation
