Job Summary
Maintain, order, and assist residents with medication needs while transcribing documentation in the Medication Assistance Record. Assist residents with activities of daily living, vital signs, first aid, and wound care, and transport them within the community for activities or dining. Respond to emergency calls and environmental hazards, and report any changes in resident physical or mental state to leadership. This role supports residents in AL and potentially Memory Care at Spectrum Retirement Communities.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- All state educational requirements for the position
Desired Qualifications
- CPR certification
- Experience working with an elderly population
- A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance
- Experience with dementia patients
- COVID-19 vaccination
