Job Summary
As a Certified Med Tech/Med-Aide, provide direct resident care including medication administration as prescribed, receiving, organizing, and storing meds; review care plans daily and communicate changes; assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges; monitor vital signs and monitor skin health; support your supervisor and team; assist with meals, daily activities, and basic room care; maintain medication storage area, ensure confidentiality, uphold Residents’ Rights, and document charting. Maintain cleanliness, follow universal precautions, and participate in orientation/training. Requires lifting up to 50 pounds, CPR/First Aid certification, and completion of Qualified Medication Aide program with current license; shift is full-time overnight (10:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.) in Hood River, Oregon.
Required Qualifications
- Highschool diploma/GED
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Completion of Qualified Medication Aide program with current license
- 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- English communication skills
