Job Summary
Med Tech/Med Aide role providing direct resident care and medication administration under the Health Services Director. Responsibilities include receiving, organizing, and storing meds; monitoring residents via vitals and weight changes; reviewing care plans; assisting with admissions, transfers, and discharges; maintaining medication storage cleanliness; documenting functions related to medication management; and ensuring safety and confidentiality. Requires High School diploma/GED, CPR/First Aid certification, completion of Qualified Medication Aide program with state license, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Shifts available part-time and full-time at Trustwell Living in Silverton, OR.
Required Qualifications
- Highschool diploma/GED
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role
- CPR/First Aid certification required
- Completion of the Qualified Medication Aide program with a current license based on state requirements
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to read, write, and verbally communicate in English
