Job Summary
As a medication aide, you assist our senior residents in their daily well-being, including personal services, medication assistance, and social-recreational activities. You will report to the wellness director. You will complete nursing treatments and monitor residents' vital signs, maintain medication/treatment records, comply with regulatory guidelines, and communicate with physician, pharmacy, and family to ensure medications are received promptly. You will store medications and equipment, keep the medication room clean, and follow the resident service plan including assistance with bathing, grooming, administering medication, and other ADLs, noting changes in the resident condition. You will demonstrate knowledge of infection control procedures and support a home-like environment that respects dignity, privacy, independence, and choice. Typical candidates have six months of experience in senior caregiving or med pass and CPR/BLS certification can be obtained.,
