Job Summary
Distribute medications and treatments to residents while performing general household caregiver duties. Provide medical and physical care to meet daily needs, including grooming, hygiene, dining, and mobility assistance. Administer medications safely, document services, and report changes in resident conditions to licensed nursing staff. Plan and facilitate social activities, lead learning circles, and support psychosocial well-being through relationship building. Maintain a clean household environment, coordinate with the homemaker, and assist with personal laundry. Work part-time evening shifts with rotating weekends and holidays as a PRN caregiver.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older unless active on the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide (CNA) registry
- High school diploma/equivalent required unless active on the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide (CNA) registry
- Must be able to successfully complete required medication training
- Must possess the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong communication skills
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Capable of working as part of a team
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience working with older adults preferred
